[Announcement] Long Time No See!

I just came back from a short Europe trip, but I missed Fukakyon's most recent drama :( after 1 year she is now acting as a mom in this new one called Gekokujo Juken!
She looks SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Seriously, does she ever age?! (see some facial freezing by possible botox, but hey, she's like a real doll - I don't care :D )
I'm going to watch it!
Look forward to some detailed posts soon ;)

[2016 Drama] Please Love the Useless Me (Dame na Watashi ni Koishite Kudasai) - Episode 10 (Final)

AH~~ couldn't wait till the subs are out, so I'm just translating with my half ass Japanese skills with some Chinese people's comments/subs on screens.

Can't believe this was the end of the series... we definitely need an SP or 2. I gotta say, the writers wrapped it up really well. The pace is a bit too rushed and jumpy, but all the important plots were there and there are nothing left unexplained, really. AND Fukakyon KAWAIII~~~ so, I can forgive a lot of things lol.



I'm gonna miss Shibata and Shunin a lot...
Gonna miss the days I get to talk to other fans on my blog and forum posts...
*sigh*... this is why I don't like following dramas real time- I feel like I'm wayyyy too invested in the characters :P



Fukakyon's total sweetness during the shooting of the drama was shown through various photos and clips. (ex. gifting everyone chocolate on V day, joining in funny videos, being totally supportive of others) AH~~~ want to change my name to Aiko just cuz of this:

Also, this episode revealed that, Shibata's Bday is March 15th!!! whaaaaa~~ that's like almost my bday (17th)~~~ no wonder I feel so connected with her character (excluding the "donating" nature). Today's screen caps, I have the on-screen comments on, so that I can remember which part it was when I'm writing the recap (subs are used for this usually).

[2016 Drama] Please Love the Useless Me (Dame na Watashi ni Koishite Kudasai) - Episode 09

OHOHOH~~~ I was gonna download right this morning, but somehow, the website wouldn't show me the torrent link... Anyways, I got it off Bilibili.com as usual ;) Gonna go watch again for the real-time on screen comments :D

This week, we started with where we've left off from last episode - Shunin rejecting Shibata's proposal lol. They are so cute~~~!!!
In this episode, we finally are going to deal with Shunin's feelings towards Haruka and how he is slowly being moved by Shibata~~~
Warning though... this episode gets more and more heavy as it progresses. You can see that they are wrapping all the lines up and resolving the final conflict/plot.
The series are going to end next week :'( even though I really want to watch more. I agree this is the correct number of episodes given how fast the storyline is moving forward and how much is left from the published contents of the manga. I'd totally be down for another season or SP though :D
Rating is pretty stable, dropped a little this week, but I mean, last week was like REALLY GOOD.
*9.0__*9.3__*8.2__*9.8__*8.7__10.1__*9.6__10.3__*9.7 (Avg = 9.41).

Fukakyon showed a lot of heart warming smiles that I really LOVE and a lot of classic saddening/heart breaking smiles... This episode gave her a good chance to show off her acting chops ;) This character is perfect for her. I can't imagine anyone being Shibata.

[2016 Drama] Please Love the Useless Me (Dame na Watashi ni Koishite Kudasai) - Episode 08

Wooo~ I finally finished off a really REALLY busy week full of exams and rehearsals!!! :D

Then I found this episode to be the BEST of the whole series!!! LOVE IT! So funny and the flow was great. There wasn't any part that I found to be super unreasonable or slow. 

It reflected on the rating as well!

*9.0__*9.3__*8.2__*9.8__*8.7__10.1__*9.6__10.3 [average *9.37]　

Two episodes left! If we keep up with the good pace and keep going up in rating, we might be able to see a 10% average(?!) or at least 9.5% ;) - already highest of that time slot, no pressure hahaha

As always, Fukakyon is gorgeous and deadly cute in all the scenes <3

[2016 Drama] Please Love the Useless Me (Dame na Watashi ni Koishite Kudasai) - Episode 07

Sorry for the late update this week... Had no time to even sleep. This will also be the case for next week :( But I promise, I'll write a recap as soon as possible.

In the middle of the episode, I was like:
Did I miss a part of the episode?
Cuz although there were a lot of build up, the transition came quite suddenly....
Like whaaaaaat?!
Anyhow~ still very good.
The rating for this episode was 9.6%. Didn't stay over 10, but still good. Average comes to 9.2% still the best of this time slot. Hopefully next week
Episode 7, serving as the turning point, finally gave Fukakyon opportunity to show off her acting chops - which is quite awesome! (I still gotta say, whatever she did around her mouth isn't great, but she's still conveying those emotions pretty well). This episode had more negative emotions and actually have bigger impact on viewers. Still funny and warm mostly, but lots of moments where you just feel bad for Akira, Haruko, Shunin, and Mogami. Shibata, although kinda did it to herself, I totally see where she's coming from.

[2016 Drama] Please Love the Useless Me (Dame na Watashi ni Koishite Kudasai) - Episode 06

Today's translation update was a little later... is the Chinese sub team less enthusiastic about these Mogami heavy episodes? Hopefully not.
Since the manga itself hasn't ended yet, This drama series is probably going to have some sort of open ending? I'm hoping there's at least a Shunin/Shibata bed scene *drool* (I haven't read it, so I don't know where it's at. Only known through people's comments).

Rating went up to 2 digits finally this week~~~

This is a day worth celebrating, because, this is the highest average rating of any series aired on this time slot on TBS surpassing Mother game. :D Congrats!!! I’m so happy!!

This episode is heartfelt, funny, and eventful~ much better than I expected. Dame Koi finally went over 10% in rating- from the looks of it, better things are yet to come ~~ can’t wait to see it go above 12% *fingers crossed*

Anyhow, I'm gonna set on calling him Shunin and not Master now- cuz he stopped correcting Shibata who is just the cutest when she says "Shunin" ahhhh~~~

This episode was mainly focused on Shibata's suspicion on whether or not Mogami is a fraud like Shunin said. As usual, Fukakyon is too cute for words <3

A successful drama brings all characters to life with plots within the main plot. Every character has their time and their stories that eventually contributes/ helps the main characters' development and plot progression. This drama is bound to be a successful one, because it is satisfying this criteria!

First week of sales at #4 selling - 3747 books...

Why is her photobook twice as expensive as all other people at 3240 yen.... hopefully she does better the second week, although it is not likely without any promotion...

I don't know why Horipro is letting this photobook launch without much promo O_O"

If she had sort of promote for it, it might sell better? Anyways, hopefully the company notice it and ask her to be on some more shows to promote :D but if it's gonna be too tiring for her, then probably not (hahaha which one?!)

New episode <3, of course, I watched it before the subs came out then watched again after lol.

This episode is basically about ShibataXMogami relationship and how she seems to like Master more...

I was thinking this episode is kinda dull...and it reflected right on the rating... last episode did really well, too bad we didn't go over 10% -- still has about 6 episodes~ Gan Ba De~~~!!!

"Everyone's saying your are a 30 years old carnivore (meaning a more pro-active love seeking female)" - which is actually a true statement for real life Fukakyon :P

"I'm sexy already, so one sexy pantie is enough" LOL yeah! you tell him, girl!!! Although he just laughed real hard at it :P  (This is the ending)

Master is still in his whole Haruko loop - but today, Shibata finds out more~

Ep 03 isn't as exciting as the previous 2, but it served as a nice transition episode. Here, we see how the master is training Shibata to be smarter ;).

Their quarrels /arguments are so funny. Fukakyon's instant change of expression and voice are the best! She's getting prettier every episode :D

Fukakyon is so beautiful~
This episode actually IS better than the first one O_O" Most people's comment also indicated this.
The tempo in this episode is good, doesn't feel choppy and all lines are smoothly transitioning in between and developing as they should.

SO CUTE!!!

I have a feeling, this manga turned drama is gonna be filled with "teenage girl heart" and "food porn" XD

Fukakyon is too cute for words here !!! <3 

Lots of things happened in the first episode. The background story and plot were laid out pretty fast O_O I was kinda surprised. Many manga fans also said they were surprised how fast the storyline progressed. I felt like to pack the whole story in, some parts jumped a bit abruptly. Anyways, at the end, I am impressed at how much info was actually packed into 1 hour O_O see the recap, and you'll know:

Fukakyon channeled her ultra cuteness and totally made this unbearable 30 year-old heroine lovable. I mean, she's retarded, but we gotta admit, there are people who does these retarded things. She is a bit extreme, but in real life, girls do crazier things for "love"...

Another shopping show?! wow... she's like addicted to these shows?

As usual, beautiful. Those people saying they don't recognize her any more... u should just cover her forehead w/ your hand. I mean, when she smiles, you can't like... say that's not her = =

It's her 20th years in the industry/contract

When asked how she keeps her youth, I think she said to put on things that matches her age inside and outside (?!) and to cherish living a normal life

She stuffs the shopping spree money in her (bra?) shirt. lol adorable

She must choose one of her NG word - her manager told the show 3 of her tagline/catch phrase. I can attest, she says all three of these VERY often. She picked "Do Shi Yooh" which means "What to do?" the red one is "Is it ok?" and the green one is "that is the case (use to agree with others)". Frequency wise, I'd say she says green > blue > red.
