[1997 JDrama] Sore Ga Kotae Da! ep 03 Love Line Ooo~~

We have Nobuya as the main student character in this episode. Kyoko chan has more screen time because she's his love interest ;)
Fujihara is also in Horipro - I'm not sure who is senior (senpai), but they look cute together. There's very little chemistry though hahaha. I think Fukakyon's on screen chemistry with Mikami (Naruse sensei) was much better.

Naruse San just keeps getting cuter and cuter XD. Eating watermelon and spitting the seeds out of the window~

He is a typical genius with high pride and high expectations, his way of making musician play his music is very much like "Chiaki Senpai" in Nodame Cantabile. He believes the qualification of playing music (or doing music) is talent - not just willingness. - which I do agree to a certain degree... music is quite impossible for people without talent. (Honestly, everyone has different talents. It's nice to want to learn music and enjoy it, but becoming a pro- that is a completely different story!)

Nobuya's face is so funny when the teacher ask them to hand in their final exam papers XD - You can see how nervous Kazune chan is, too :P. They can now focus on club activities in the summer~

 Naruse was correcting everyone. Then he pointed out how much Nobuya sucks as a cello player. Saying his problem is the biggest, not doing stecato (I can't spell), tempo as well as scale (? tune) are all bad.

 Kazune thanks Naruse for teaching them and says everyone's happy about it (ahem~ not really *cough* Nobuya *cough*)

Of course, when someone's acting like a teacher's pet or when pretty girls talks to someone- the guys has to say she likes the teacher / guy. The girl friends knows better- it is because Kazune has always wanted to play with everyone in the orchestra. She is also the best player in the band.

 I honestly thinks Kyoko chan has more BG chemistry with Naruse than Nobuya O_O" She loves prince-like people so, Mikami could be her type. When she was little, she also used to like guys much older than her - maybe that's why XD.
I thought Mikami is taller though.
Kazune is asking how Naruse thinks about their orchestra (A: it sucks). Then he said, cello is especially awful and has an attitude. Kazune, knowing Nobuya, says he is actually a really kind and nice kid. Then Naruse was like - it is a waste of effort for idiots to try hard, (ouch!)

 Naruse's manager is also really cute XD. He is noticing that Naruse is being moved by these cute, simple country side kids.

Of course~ we have the teacher BL~ they keep getting cuter hahahaha

 Today, because of Naruse, Ikeda (the PE teacher) sprained his ankle. (they fell off the bike). So, Naruse has to teach PE- LOL.

 So cute XD

Naruse basically just lies at the side line (aka - not doing shit). Fukakyon's so cute ~ No.9 is now on top of my list of number choice if I ever play sports again (not likely :P).

 Chie chan is so smart - she was able to guess that Naruse didn't play sports because he has to protect his fingers as a pianist back then.

 Nobuya: (OS:"I found his weakness")

 HAHAHA Chie chan helping Ikeda get around the school and the students mocked them - so funny!!

 Chie chan got ditched right on the spot HAHAHA! She's so cute ~

 Yuriko was concerned that these 2nd year middle school kids are doing badly before the last year of their middle school (they have to get into good highschool by exams in Japan). She proposed to do a summer school session to help these students.

 Look at that report card~ Kazune 水野和音 has an average that is quite similar to mine back then (I am so proud of her). She probably does better than me XD! BUT her highest mark is 93- I definitely beat her on that back in Taiwan! (Canadian highschool is no comparison to the kind of difficulty - so I won't compare with that ~)

"There are music in rests!" YES! It's really important - for Timpani who has to rest for like a hundred + bars just to get to a climax section of 16 bars ish then go back to silent again. It is very important to feel the rests and try to see how the story enters its high point then comes the timpani~

 Honestly, I hate this type of show off- who asks the teacher to correct her performance O_O I mean, NO ONE does that in Asia! Ah~ well~ because Kazune is Fukakyon so I can forgive that.
De Mo Ne~ (=BUT) Kyoko chan~ I see you are moving the bow onto different strings pretending like you're playing on different strings. Remember to move your left hand fingers, too argh~

Nobuya once again got called out. This time, Naruse said: "Letting a useless person play cello is like rowing a boat without pedals" OUCH! BURRRRN!

 hahaha Nobuya "Can someone translate for me?"

 Naruse :"I'm saying that, to play such disgusting sound in front of me is impolite/disrespectful"

 Nobuya: "I've never played it, how could I know how to?"

 Naruse: "I don't know if you are playing music because you like it or what. Music will not go the way you want it to."

Then Naruse made Nobuya stop playing... aw.....of course he was hurt and wanted to quit orchestra...

 Naruse apparently even did this to pro players. Saying "My music doesn't need you." O_O

Nobuya decided to prove his point by challenging Naruse to basketball 1 vs 1~

 Naruse completely couldn't play basketball (can't dribble or shoot properly) while Nobuya, on the other hand, is the best player of the class (or in the town).

 Kazune, seeing how the teacher is losing (badly) - game wise and face wise. Cheered for him. - which, without her knowing, fueled Nobuya's anger.

 Naruse almost had a chance of getting some points, but he fell on the ground.
Nobuya then paraphrased what Naruse said to him back to Naruse.

Kazune went to ask Nobuya to come back to practice.
She first asked why Nobuya had to humiliate Naruse and do that basketball match. She criticized him for being childish. His action is making the band's situation worse.

Nobuya expressed his anger about how she's on Naruse's side (lol jealousy is a bitch, eh?)

 Then at that moment when Kazune could notice what Nobuya's really feeling, some freakin' kids has to run down the stairs!!! (^*%$%#*&%T^)

 Kazune asks Nobuya to come back to practice.
Nobuya refuses saying he doesn't like Naruse, doesn't find music enjoyable and it's pointless for him to play in the orchestra (doesn't help his future)

 Kazune (who I can assume loves music) expressed her disappointment:
"I finally have a chance to play in an orchestra in my last days at this school"
Nobuya was in shock hearing that Kazune is moving away after the summer ends... T_T

Narse's manager is so funny XD. He was like "How would Naruse know how to play basketball?!" Again, hurting Naruse's pride hahaha.

Kazune is still concerned that Nobuya is skipping class...
Yuriko Sensei is handing back their final exam paper today - ah~ I miss those days. Usually, I love getting my exams back. Because then I can prove I'm not a goof I seem to be when I talk or joke in class hahaha.

 Then Yuriko informed them that all of them will have to come to the cramming session after school till the end of the school year (which I assume is until the summer break starts?)

Nobuya spotted Naruse trying to get better at basketball (shooting, precisely speaking). He then, again, paraphrased what Naruse said to him "Having the will is not enough."
Then seeing how Naruse is working hard, Nobuya gives him some tips - then said to Naruse "Sensei, you can't do this, but that doesn't matter. "
Naruse learned through this and decided to properly teaches Nobuya -He realized that : one cannot do what one did not learn or was not taught.

 Kazune heard the sound of the piano and rejoiced.
Fukakyon kawaii~~~

These two guys both feel happy and truly enjoys playing music with each other at this moment, but they are both trying to be cool LOL
傲嬌~~~ I love this XD

Kazune gave them the applause they deserve - and she gave Nobuya the only recognition he needs in this world at this moment.
Kyoko chan's facial expression change here is so subtle, yet gentle. Right on point - great acting here!~

Everyone gets into their position. Ikeda changed his mind and apologized to Yuriko saying he still wants the kids to play in the orchestra instead of doing the cramming sessions.
The story of this orchestra continues...

OMFG... I can't believe I am still awake- this is really bad... maybe I'll sleep till 5 pm tomorrow to compensate again :P
I may post the next Ep some time next week :) Next one is on a love triangle~ wooo~~~ hehehe~~
