I'm not great at reading Japanese... Here is a summary of what she said in the interview, there will be a lot of errors, but then... it's the best I can do, please comment if you have corrections for me:
Fukada revealed that the first time she saw the original drawing book by Sano Yoko (佐野洋子), she couldn't stop her tears. She said that she had been working in the film/TV (video) world and missed the chances to be on stage (theatre/musical) many times. She felt like it's a completely different world and could not imagine herself standing on that stage.
She chose this as her first Musical because she found this story to have a world-view(?) and has shadows. Anyone can relate to the story, she felt. The songs and story are all charismatic and they get stuck in her head.
Fukada is acting as the "White Cat" which is the "female support" in the story. Kyoko chan said that she doesn't have the strength and confidence the White Cat possesses (*she laughed*). In A Million Times, she likes the twists and the scenes with this female character. The feeling of unstoppable feelings of affection for someone that one did not intend to have. All of the characters' life story lead to this ending. (ok, I admit, I don't really get this part lol)
Then they talked about how the script writer and the music writers for this musicals are quite famous. (nice to know. I really wanna go see this musical, thanks = =)
Fukada san is now in workshops to experience and learn about how to become a cat on stage.
Kyoko chan noted the difference between theatrical and movie/video's facial and body expression / language. She is surprised at her degree of movements. She is humbly receiving instructions and learning. She thinks this musical matches "樂" Chinese letter (they have these in Japanese, in Chinese, it means musical, happiness, fun - here, she meant fun, judging by her following comment) very well. She is very looking forward to performing, she has hope for living in this world in general. She thinks that on the first performance, she will feel the impact and really feel it. Now, she looks forward to meeting her new self soon.

The place is 東京芸術劇場 プレイハウス
Price= (Tokyo) S seating - 10,800 Yen and side seats- 8,500 Yen
There are plans for Nishikawa and Osaka performances.
Children under 6 (before elementary) cannot enter.
