[2016 Drama] Please Love the Useless Me (Dame na Watashi ni Koishite Kudasai) - Episode 06

Today's translation update was a little later... is the Chinese sub team less enthusiastic about these Mogami heavy episodes? Hopefully not.
Since the manga itself hasn't ended yet, This drama series is probably going to have some sort of open ending? I'm hoping there's at least a Shunin/Shibata bed scene *drool* (I haven't read it, so I don't know where it's at. Only known through people's comments).

Rating went up to 2 digits finally this week~~~

This is a day worth celebrating, because, this is the highest average rating of any series aired on this time slot on TBS surpassing Mother game. :D Congrats!!! I’m so happy!!

This episode is heartfelt, funny, and eventful~ much better than I expected. Dame Koi finally went over 10% in rating- from the looks of it, better things are yet to come ~~ can’t wait to see it go above 12% *fingers crossed*

Anyhow, I'm gonna set on calling him Shunin and not Master now- cuz he stopped correcting Shibata who is just the cutest when she says "Shunin" ahhhh~~~

This episode was mainly focused on Shibata's suspicion on whether or not Mogami is a fraud like Shunin said. As usual, Fukakyon is too cute for words <3

A successful drama brings all characters to life with plots within the main plot. Every character has their time and their stories that eventually contributes/ helps the main characters' development and plot progression. This drama is bound to be a successful one, because it is satisfying this criteria!

Let's start w/ the recap!~~

At the advice of Akira, Shibata took Mogami to meet her at her store lol. As a prep for moving in together. That plan was soon called off, because Mogami's mom is hospitalized. The history repeats itself and is always ever so familiar. Shibata is now plagued with her past and can't help but suspect Mogami's motives, honesty, and sincerity. BTW, phones nowaday= = the manufacturers' advertise view angle like it's a good thing... WTF?! I don't want other people looking at my screen and see everything I'm typing/ I'm doing...Akira oversees Mogami's message and warns Shibata to check all communication devices of her BFs O_O" woah.

 Akira, however, encourages Shibata to follow her heart and try to believe Mogami (maybe since he didn't ask for money from her unlike the previous guy). It's a surprise to Akira, Shibata, and us that Akira didn't know Shibata actually lives at Shunin's place! what~~~?! She then offers Shibata to live with her.

 That huge piece of meat in the back tho... isn't that like CHO SUGOI?!

 Shibata told Shunin, of course, he things Mogami is a Sagishi (fraud) even more... He then questioned her feelings for Mogami. Is she doing this liking act because she actually like him or does she just feels obliged because she's his GF? Love Fukakyon's cool face when she was defending her love lol.

She then thought, her Dame Koi (wrong, bad love) is still better than what Shunin has with Haruko. She asked him if it's ok with him to stay this way again... but...

 On the day of moving out, Shibata received message update from Mogami and she prays (loudly) hoping that he's not a fraud.

Shunin, seeing Shibata's packing is going no where, offers to help. She then demanded that everything in that corner (with all the things on Medical Riders) be removed/dumped out). The clock, the vase, the case, basically are all broken, she just left them there LOL That's like what I do hahaha keeping bunch of broken/useless shit!!! She said she's going to forget all old memories and make new memories LOL

 Found her Sexy pantie lol. Of course, she's not gonna throw that expensive piece of fabric out! (I really really LOVE that gun like grabbing stick thing... where can I get THAT?!)

Of course, Shunin then mocks her saying sarcastically, "making new memories, eh? That's great :)"

 Akira arrived and the first thing she noticed is that "useless distracting meat pillow" lol... Shibata then said there are good memories (so she's refusing to throw it out). How cute!!! Then Akira is introduced to A5 (the cat) who will be staying at Shunin's while Shibata retain visitation right (discussed in last ep). Shunin really sounds like Shibata's guardian lol

 Shibata expressed her gratitude to Shunin, but Shunin, as usual, cuts her off and asked Terry to drive. He looks SO CUTE holding the cat in his arms :D

 Shibata apparently is trying to use this dating app that basically are like diaries/ calendar, you can post things and mark memories, special days, etc. Honestly, not the worst idea, but girl, you're 30!!! hahahaha

 When the morning came, the real problem surfaced, neither of these 2 women cook O_O *gasp* how do you live alone without learning how to cook... I mean Shibata, Akira had Shunin, so it made sense, what did you have?! (really Dame= =). No wonder Shibata asked whether Akira just misses Shinin because of the food. LOL

 Contrast, Shunin is enjoying(or not...) his REAL Breakfast (omg. YUM!)

 When Mogami came to Sunflower Cafe to see Shibata (cuz he misses her). Shunin didn't back off, he just kept saying Sagi lol. Even writing it on the omelette  (omg, man... No wonder Mogami gets so jealous of you). So protective ;) It's fun seeing Shibata trying to prevent Shunin from attacking her BF lol through words

 Terry is helping by saying Shibata made the sunflower costume LOL. Love the thumbs up moment!

 Shunin's Sagi omelette LOL. Shibata's explanation, u gotta see for yourself!

 They're so in sync it's funny lol.

 The facial expression change of Mogami sometimes makes me feel a bit scared ... I see what the director is trying to do. The spoilers on the comments and danmu totally breaks the suspense for me though...

 Shibata is only slightly upset w/ Shunin, we're good lol. He then escort/walk her home (is she a pet lol?!) Of course, she's eating again... "Meat is on another stomach!" Shunin just think she's piling up those fat around her waist HAHAHA

 Shibata falls (again). He then goes on and mock that she's so stupid, she should call for help if she needs it instead of trying to solve things by herself (it's kinda sweet but expressed in an annoying way lol) This part is so funny, don't skip :D

Shibata's "never give up" spirit is truly amazing. She will surely succeed someday with this! The product they wanted to be sold through TV shopping channel was out of stock everywhere and they messed up so no sample was able to be showcased in the program (wtf?!). Now, they're all on the hunt for this Mopa (electronic mopping robot lol) - If it's selling so well, the TV shopping isn't really needed... is it?! hahaha what ever. Then starts the classic J-drama dash/run.

 Shibata finally found the product they need in some Chinese people's cart LOL of course, Chinese people buying up everything ;). The stuff they say are SO FUNNY (and slightly racist) it's both offensive (to the Mainlanders) and amusing hahaha - all the comments were just so funny to read, too. Maybe I should rewatch this when the subtitle comes up on this site to see more comments hahaha. I am from Taiwan, so I can understand the Mandarin and laugh at the stereotype presentation HAHAHA. It's the best. Taiwan X Japan relationship/bond <3.
Kyoko chan's "Shi Shi Ni Hao" ("Yes, yes, hello") was SO CUTE!!!

 Shunin just happens to be there (because, drama/manga, duh). He also can speak Mandarin LOL this is like a thing designed for Dean? (the actor). He acted in Taiwan for the past 10 years so he sports a Taiwanese/ Japanese accent on his Mandarin (which is somewhat amusing), but he's somewhat fluent, so it wasn't that awkward. It's ++++++++ for me hahaha. The Mainlanders were all like "he has Taiwanese accent" LOL.
Anyhow, the Chinese people in this scene, when Kyoko tried to buy the product in the cart from them, responded in Mandarin, "we aren't short of money" I almost died laughing LOL (so did other people commenting on the screen haha - those are danmu)
Shunin, then goes on to play the sympathy card, saying how Shibata is unmarried at 30 and even in debt - hahah that did the trick (don't do this in real life... usually Chinese people don't give a shit= ="). You need to be both good looking and offer enough cash for this to MAYBE work. Anyhow, Shunin is good looking and they asked for double the retail price for the product (wtf...IT'S NOT AN IPHONE, BITCH!).

 Shibata, unknowing she's been pitied by these people, was so happy and thanked Shunin before she ran off. Poor girl LOL. Learn Chinese!!!
Fukakyon's "Xie Xie" ("thank you") was adorable!!! I have to record that part and send it as a voice message to people through chat apps hahaha

 Shibata picked up a phone call for Mogami and it happened to be his sick mom. She then confirmed he's not lying... if this is in China - omg, that's not enough confirmation, but because it's in Japan - safe!~~~~She cried in joy/relief.

After work , Shibata went to thank Shunin again, she wanted to try out the new toaster oven, but Shunin was babying it, refusing to let her touch it :D

It was late, I kinda feel like, but Mogami called Shibata out and they met up in this impossibly pretty , well illuminated place with NO ONE else... hahaha dramaland.

 That diamond in the back though... I love the green light so much (is that an allusion to her answer?).

 Now, for all the blue lovers, the light eventually turned blue hahah. Looks more like a diamond when lit this way, though, tbh.

 If you like it then you should've put a ring on it ~~You are now engaged, Shibata~ just like that O_O" omg... happened SO FAST... congrats?!

This was an eventful episode like I mentioned. So much happened and you can totally see why Mogami wants to settle with Shibata so desperately... (both his parents are sick, she's adorable, she's persistent, etc.). Everything that doesn't make much sense is being explained somehow in this episode. We see a lot of foreshadowing happening with interactions between the characters. Again, I can't wait till next episode~~~ how is the writer going to play out the plot twist and change the coupling ~ Tanoshi mini (look forward to it~~).
