I'm not great at reading Japanese... Here is a summary of what she said in the interview, there will be a lot of errors, but then... it's the best I can do, please comment if you have corrections for me:
I've tried not to touch my computer for a few days to focus on studying for my final exams... doesn't seem like it's working out lol as I can still watch videos and search up things on my phone and tablet. I saw this CM a few days ago, but I've tried to resist from blogging about it. However, I can't hold back anymore!!! She's so cute, I have to share :D.
My next exam is on Monday, so I have a few days- I guess I can post today :P
This company really seems to have a lot of products, they seem to focus on sewing products (shirts, ties, socks) and tissues? You can Google yourself :P
They used to only have the dogs in their CM and they decided to use Fukakyon as their first human character in their CM :D. I gotta tell you, she's great hahaha- she's well known, beautiful, cute. Gotta say, great choice, Nisshinbo.

These are screen caps I got off various dramas - except the first one (1996) that's the competition which got Kyoko chan her contract with Horipro and opened her door to the industry. --- I gotta say, the scouting people really are good with this- she did look cute, but whoe knew she'd grow up to have one of the most pretty face of Japan?!
The 2005, 2007, and 2010, 2011 pictures are pretty small, but that - I blame it on the site I made this collage with - next time I'll use photoshop to properly put them all together... (She didn't look too different from 2004 during that time anyways --- that was her peak :D - you can see the picture in my articles for those dramas anyways)
This should be a fairly accurate representation of how Kyoko chan looks throughout the years. Any changes should be fairly visible. If you want to compare magazine photos (heavily Photoshopped) or news photos (raw, no proper lighting and angles) then you will OF COURSE thinks her face changes all the time. From all these frontal facial shots - you can see that her facial organs and face size DID NOT go through major changes. (The thing that changed the most from top to bottom is probably her eye brows LOL) She did become a little hard to recognize in 2012, but I still couldn't figure out why....
Story
An ordinary art college girl, Kana (25) whose dream is to create a drawing book that would bring happiness to thousands met and fell in love with a talented painter/ construction worker, Ryosuke. However, she was diagnosed with (early onset) Alzheimer's (very rare disease in <65 years olds)...
The reason why I started with this episode is because there was a fan who went to the shoot and recorded talks there that weren't aired! O_O
It's not surprising, though- because they were talking about things that could've hurt Kyoko chan's image - There is no way her management would've allowed for it to be aired.
The fan seems to be a KO (Koichi only fan). who likes Kyoko chan XD. She said Kyoko chan's short black hairstyle was very beautiful (I totally agree)!
Before they started recording for the real show, they were still figuring out who has met the guest and what their relationships were. (Tom San is like a father figure to him in the industry. Kyoko chan and Tanihara had acted together in 5 dramas - most out of all.)
There, Koichi saw something and had to comment on it:
We have Nobuya as the main student character in this episode. Kyoko chan has more screen time because she's his love interest ;)
Fujihara is also in Horipro - I'm not sure who is senior (senpai), but they look cute together. There's very little chemistry though hahaha. I think Fukakyon's on screen chemistry with Mikami (Naruse sensei) was much better.

I've been following her news for quite some time.
I'm still mad that I can't join her fan club because, well it no longer really exists - now, there's only that half-assed Horipro fanclub thing (?!) which only allows people in Japan to register (because you need to pay through cell phone or something).
I hope she will be able to pick up singing again after doing this musical and improve on her acting. - You can't NG on stage, so it will be a challenge.
I still can't believe she never wanted to do (or her manager never let her do a musical / theatre) in her 18 years career O_O"
She may have improved on acting and singing much more if she was given the challenge earlier on when she was younger...
Ah~ well, but that means fans gets to see her on screen all the time throughout these 18 years :P
